Renewable World

Renewable World is a UK led INGO that tackles poverty through supporting communities to access affordable, reliable, and sustainable renewable energy systems through innovative business models. By connecting remote communities with clean energy technology and linking this with appropriate training and support, our projects aim to raise household incomes, improve livelihoods, and expand opportunities. We believe that access to energy is a catalyst for change, and with this people can power themselves out of poverty. Renewable World currently works in South Asia, East Africa and Central America.

South Asia is our largest programme region, currently engaged in delivering projects in Nepal and Bangladesh. Our focus here is on delivering renewable energy technology centred programmes with suitable business models, while ensuring communities realise the productive end uses of access to energy.
