Our mission is to offer opportunities to people with barriers of all kinds to improve their economic self-sufficiency through training, education, support services and employment.

Since 1947, Goodwill’s secondhand thrift stores have helped thousands of individuals with disabilities and other barriers onto a path toward reclaiming their independence. Backed by our thrift stores, we operate several divisions including: contracts, retail and workforce development. Each contributes to the community and well-being of others in an important and diverse way.

Goodwill serves 23 parishes throughout Southeastern Louisiana. As we look to the future, there are an increasing number of individuals in need of our help. It is only with the continued support of individuals and businesses in our communities that we can continue what we do best—put people to work.
