About Us
The Metropolitan Community Church of Washington, D.C. (MCCDC) is celebrating 49 years of service to the LGBTQ+ community. Throughout our history MCCDC has offered songs that cry out for justice and mercy for oppressed and forgotten people. Over the years, we have been known as "the gay church," "the church with AIDS," "the human rights church," "the justice-seeking church," and the "equality-seeking church."
