About Us
First State Educate will help catalyze the conditions that enable students in Delaware to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for economic freedom. Through organizing and campaigns, we build the infrastructure and partnerships that lead to transparency, accountability, flexibility, and innovation.
Our organization operates in Delaware, home to fewer than one million people known as “a state of neighbors.” Delaware has 195 schools within 19 districts and 22 charters, enrolling 140,849 students in three counties.
First State is for anyone who seeks relevance, excellence, and access in our system of education.
