    E/BFSC is an innovative community-based organization that provides wraparound support programs and services for the most vulnerable residents of Wards 5 and 6 in Washington, DC. E/BFSC is guided by our mission to strengthen families and build vibrant communities that promote healthy, stable neighborhoods that thrive. Founded originally as a partnership between residents and neighborhood-based organizations in 1996, E/BFSC has developed a service delivery model that focuses on four components, including: 1) family preservation, 2) housing stabilization, 3) workforce development, and 4) school-based programs. Today, E/BFSC supports approximately 1,000 families and individuals annually.
