  • Mission

Omelora is an African word meaning “one who does good for their community.” Founded by Houston high school student Kyra Ezikeuzor, Omelora was created to support youth in underserved communities worldwide starting with an orphanage school in Nigeria who lack access to basic educational supplies and mentorship. Our mission is to empower youth through education by distributing school supplies, books, and care kits, while inspiring others to become “do-gooders” in their own communities.

    About Us

Since August 2025, we've donated 400 books, 300 school kits, and 200 care items. We've raised $1k, amassed 50 volunteers, and 25k impressions on social media.

Kyra Ezikeuzor, a Nigerian-American high school student in Texas, founded Omelora to address the lack of opportunities for kids around the world, especially in southeast Nigeria. Omelora mobilizes a global youth movement committed to social good, supporting children in need, and promoting environmental awareness, empowering future generations to create lasting impact.
