CONNECTIVE INTELLIGENCE INC

  • Mission

We are focused on the science of human connection - as an ethic grounded in voice and relationships, in the importance of everyone having a voice, being listened to carefully (in their own right and on their own terms) and heard with respect. An ethics of care directs our attention to the need for responsiveness in relationships (paying attention, listening, responding) and to the costs of losing connection with oneself or with others. Its logic is inductive, contextual, psychological, rather than deductive or mathematical. Our focus is to carry forward Carol Gilligan, PhD and colleagues work. Carol’s revolutionary research focused on identity and moral development that led her to identify the ethics of care as a "different voice"--a voice that joined self with relationship and reason with emotion.

    About Us

The mission of Connective Intelligence (CI) is to offer quality therapy training and effective mental health services. Our work is to improve the mental health and well-being of all members of the community through counseling and education. We believe that mental health clinicians are an important leverage point in that work. Our educational leadership and supervisors provide clinicians with the best possible clinical skills tand access to education to prioritize professional learning to serve diverse clientele. Further, we aim to bridge the gap between academics and clinicians through research and programs to build a more comprehensive mental health service.
