Encouraging social empowerment through the growing and sharing of fresh food.
About Us
FIFABQ implements their mission statement through various tactics including:
- Harvesting "forgotten foods" (backyard fruit trees, excess orchard and farm fruits and vegetables, etc.) and redistributing throughout our community
- Designing and installing Albuquerque's first community food forest
- Hosting events such as our annual spring Seed Share and fall Harvest Share
- Partnering with local businesses to install front yard gardens for those who cannot do it themselves
