Little Lights Urban Ministries

For more than 20 years, Little Lights has had one aim: To holistically, practically, and compassionately create opportunity for children and families living in public housing.

Our holistic programs include high quality and intensive after-school and summer programs, character development programs, and one-to-one mentoring for students. For adults we provide economic empowerment and family resource programs through the Family Center, on-the-job training, and the Clean Green Team, a landscaping micro-enterprise.

Little Lights Urban Ministries empowers underserved youth, families, and communities in Washington DC by sharing the hope of Christ through compassionate action, caring relationships, and racial reconciliation.
