Foundation for New American Musicals

FNAM is dedicated to educating, mentoring and showcasing emerging creators of original musicals for stage, screen and new platforms.

For more than 20 years FNAM has been devoted to expanding the audience for musicals -- one of the five uniquely American art forms. We do this through three initiatives: Musi-Cal, a regular presentation of musical theatre works-in-progress; the Pathway, the first in the nation in school musical theatre show writing residencies; and ShowSearch, a juried and mentored competition for short musicals written by high school and college age creators.
