Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida, Inc.

Our cornerstone program, the Ronald McDonald House, is a home away from home for families with children receiving treatment at hospitals and medical facilities in Orlando. Before the Ronald McDonald Houses, parents were sleeping in their cars or in chairs in the waiting room, eating out of vending machines, or bearing the expense of impersonal hotel rooms. Our Houses provide families with a place to stay, warm meals, and the comfort of home at no cost, so they can focus on the healing of their critically ill or injured child. Each year, an average of 2,700 families stay with us to be close to their child. There are three Ronald McDonald Houses in Orlando-on the campuses of AdventHealth for Children Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, and Nemours Children’s Hospital.
