Association of American Publishers

AAP is the national trade association for the U.S. book publishing industry. It is a significant force for social change, promoting values essential to a just, open and literate society through its intensive efforts to defend the rights of creators and promote respect for copyright, to advocate freedom of expression at home and abroad, to support education and broaden literacy efforts, and to harness new information technologies in the service of American publishing interests.
