The objectives of the Emergency Operations Support Center are:

Maintain the capacity to rapidly deploy and distribute a small stock of relief supplies Develop and maintain the ability to deploy and support staff conducting on-site field assessments Support capacity enhancing initiatives of Canadian Humanitarian NGOs To enhance the Canadian public's understanding of humanitarian assistance in developing countries.
