    Orion magazine is an award-winning bimonthly journal of people, culture, and the environment. Founded in 1982, it's an influential forum for many of today's most exciting ideas and authors, from Bill McKibben to Sandra Steingraber and Michael Pollan.

    In 2004 and 2010 Orion won the Utne Independent Press Award for General Excellence, and was a finalist for a National Magazine Award in the Essay category in 2010 as well.
