    D&HHS' mission is to provide equal communication access, education and advocacy to the hard-of-hearing and Deaf in pursuit of life's opportunities.

    About Us

    Founded in 1996, DHHS is located in the Greater Grand Rapids area in Michigan. We provide ASL interpreting services, ASL classes, hearing assistance outreach, advocacy, cultural awareness and sensitivity training.

    Our programs include (but are not limited to):

    Deaf Culture Awareness and Sensitivity Training

    Youth & Kids Kamp

    ASL Classes & Tutoring

    Hearing Assistance Outreach

    Advocacy Volunteers would be utilized for helping at fundraising events, Youth program activities, and various office duties.
