    Vrihi strives to protect the erosion of rice genetic diversity in India. Vrihi is the Sanskrit name of “rice”, we are the first non-governmental rice seed bank for Indian farmers founded in 1997. Vrihi promotes cultivation of folk rice varieties through re-establishing the vanishing culture of seed exchange.
