In Tandem Arts

In Tandem Arts (ITA) is an arts incubator and experiential learning provider dedicated to advancing the performing arts through experimentation & collaboration. We use storytelling to build community, bring social issues to light, and challenge the cultural imagination.

We work in tandem with artists, schools, and community groups to co-create engaging narratives. Our motto, “The process is the experience,” reflects the engaged opportunities that our shows present for new learning about culture and the world around us. Put simply - we make local pop culture!

We work with and within communities, schools, and partnering organizations to stage inclusive narratives. All of our programs offer an opportunity for project-based, hands-on learning, regardless of age, skill level, or background. We do not create art that sets us apart - we do not create art where the most talented shine. We create art that prioritizes strong collaborative relationships and incites community engagement.
