The Center for Public Service-Gettysburg College

  • About Us

In keeping with Gettysburg College's mission to educate young people "to think critically and to act compassionately," the Center for Public Service promotes, organizes and supports public and community service by members of the Gettysburg College community. This is accomplished by working with community agencies to identify needs which students can help meet through service. The Center for Public Service also supports faculty as they include service-learning components in the classroom. Our partners include local, national and international agencies and involve students in issues such as supporting youth, community development projects in Nicaragua and local migrant farmworker concerns.
