Better Health Together

BHT works with hundreds of organizations across seven counties in eastern Washington to promote practical solutions that meet people and communities where they’re at. We facilitate conversations and partnerships that will level the playing field for community health throughout our region. We focus on equity and inclusion because it makes good business sense and is the right thing to do.

BHT's vision is to create an integrated community health system, accountable to improving health through delivering culturally competent, whole-person care to all community members. BHT's goals are improving access to integrated, whole-person care; Optimizing use of community resources; Promoting health equity for all, by all; and achieving organizational excellence and accountability. BHT utilizes seven key approaches for structuring our work and meeting goals: convening & leadership, outreach & engagement, policy advocacy, incentives & investments, leveraging data, technical assistance, and demonstrating accountability.

Whether it's leadership, policy, funding, or community advocacy, we do this work because we are passionate about our communities and helping people achieve better health. For eastern Washington to reach its full potential as a region, everyone needs access to services that support their unique needs.
