YMCA YREADS!

_{YMCA READS! is a free and remarkably successful early intervention literacy program for struggling readers in grades K-3. This program is being offered to the students in Daytona Beach whose teachers have indicated a need for additional help in reading. Our program is after-school and aims to improve numerous reading skills as well as provide students with a lifelong love for reading, which is correlated with success later in life. Your involvement in YMCA READS! can do more than teach reading skills. It boosts self-esteem, helps overcome challenges, increases imagination and improves a child’s ability to succeed in the classroom.
