    FIRST North Carolina inspires the next generation of engineers, innovators and STEM leaders through the FIRST - For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology - K-12 robotics-based programs. Our goal is to ensure that every student in North Carolina has access to participate in a high-quality FIRST program.

    About Us

    Through the FIRST programs of FIRST LEGO League (Discover, Explore and Challenge), FIRST Tech Challenge and FIRST Robotics Competition, FIRST North Carolina supports teams and students in their participation. These programs offer youth a hands-on, mentor-based, project based on real world challenges and science. Students are eligible to apply for over $30 million in scholarships to enable them to continue to pursue their STEM passions.
