Are you willing to make something different this summer? Would you like to contribute to the improvement in two social neighbourhoods in Cascais (Portugal)? So Rota Jovem's International Volunteering Work Camps are the right project for you!

Our International Volunteering Work Camps are programs where young people from all over the world can contribute for community development in Cascais, a vibrant village in the Atlantic coast and very close to the Portuguese capital city, Lisbon. Your work will be focused on community development and you’ll have the opportunity to make children, youngsters and elderly people happier by transforming a green area in a playground and a great fitness area for all of them and by helping to create nicer spaces for the local community to meet up and socialize in.

This is a project where volunteers between 18 and 30 years old form any country of the world can learn about themselves, others and live the local spirit while experiencing group life and meeting people from different countries. They are short-term projects (2 weeks between 16th of June and 15th of July) and our program is free of charge and full of amazing experiences!

There is no participation fee and all the costs regarding accommodation, food, local transports, local insurance and activities materials will be covered by Cascais Jovem (the Youth Department in Cascais municipality) and Rota Jovem. The volunteer only needs to take care of their international travel to Cascais and visa, but we can help with the invitation letter.
