Chispa Compost

We are a triple impact organization that creates organic compost in La Serena/Coquimbo, Chile. We want to increase carbon sequestration, promote healthy living, and offer an alternative to toxic landfills that are an economic burden to communities. We source the majority of our organic waste from farmer´s markets as well as participating schools and restaurants.

Our community composting project is an environmental education organization that helps create school gardens by donating organic compost, effectively enriching environmental curriculum while offering food consciousness for children to eat healthier! We also offer compost workshops and talks to get not only students and professors onboard with organic recycling, but also administrators and parents.

Whether it be working with the actual compost or remotely with your super SMM skills, design skills, or even those knowledgeable in accounting, we would love to hear how you can lend us a helping hand!
