  • Mission

    The Patiño Foundation, created in 1931 in Bolivia, has been helping Bolivian generations developing programs in the fields of Education and Culture, Pediatric Health and Agroecology, for the individual and collective development of the Bolivian population, with the goals to facilitate Bolivians' construction of a better life.

    About Us

    The Patiño Foundation wants to be pionee in our 3 main field operations (Paediatric health, Agroecology, Education) in which we develop models and good practices that can be reproduced. The Foundation aspires to make available to Bolivians the best international resources, thanks to its International Volunteer program.

    The Foundation develops the activities with projects in the following spaces:

    3 paediatric health centres, focused on primary care, children malnutrition, and monitoring of children with mild illnesses.

    4 Centres dedicated to education and cultural activities, with a focus on children between 6 and 17 years of age, and training of primary and secondary school teachers.

    2 farms dedicated to sustainable and organic agriculture, research, production of dairy products and the share of knowledge with local producers.

    2 historical museums with free visits and artistic-educational workshops.

    6 popular libraries, 2 main libraries and a space to promote children's reading.

    2 ecotourist parks aiming to preserve the natural ecosystem of differente Bolivian regions.
