CREATIVITY IN MOTION NFP
Mission
Creativity In Motion is a non profit performing arts center that will be located in Chicago’s neighborhood. Creativity in Motion will provide at-risk youth with a secure, positive, family environment where hope and belief can be regained. They can earn trust, self-respect, and the skills to lead a productive lifestyle free of the gangs, drugs, and poverty that surrounds them. Creativity In Motion will help inner city youth to find their dreams educational and cultural enrichment. As educators, artists, and mentors, we strive to shed a positive light on the Chicago neighborhood and to nurture each child that visits our center.
About Us
Creativity in Motion is centered around Books. Our reading program, an interactive program that encourages the joy of reading with activities that will bring what we read to life. We will have weekly book discussions and activities to inspire critical thinking and emphasize the importance of education. In essence, we encourage the kids to know their greatness and to be proud of their life, family, and community.
