  • About Us

Providence Hospitality House is a ministry of the Sisters of Providence and exists to provide shelter, food, advocacy and referral services on an emergency basis (4-6 weeks), in a family-like and supportive environment to homeless women with children.

In providing these services, Providence Hospitality House hopes to create a free and open space where all persons can be welcomed and accepted, and to enable the guests to move through and beyond the crisis of homelessness.

The mission is to provide a temporary home for women with children in crisis, under the guiding principles of: • Compassion, • Respect, • Advocacy, • Emergency, • Family-like Environment, • Support, • Justice.
