  • About Us

The Bastrop County Long Term Recovery Team is rebuilding homes for low income and underinsured families who lost their homes during the devastating wildfires in September 2011. Of the 1691 homes destroyed, 747 belonged to families who either had no resources to rebuild or who had too insurance to adequately rebuild. Many of these families are still living in FEMA trailers or small campers on their property.
