    As the only university in Southern California offering a Master's degree in Environmental Education, we are preparing tomorrow's best environmental educators through our program that offers: -- Coursework related to environmental interests -- A dynamic learning environment -- Innovative learning situations -- Flexibility in reaching professional objectives.

    Since 1990, we have been providng an effective environmental education graduate program aimed at meeting the educational needs of formal and non-formal educators at: -- All grade levels -- Nature centers, museums, parks -- Outdoor school programs -- Nonprofit environmental associations -- Federal, state, county and city agencies

    We seek students who have teaching experience. The experience can be of a short period of time; you need to know that you enjoy teaching. About half the students have a teaching credential. Having a teaching credential is not a requirement. The program attracts students locally, nationally, and internationally.
