Heart & Hand Center for Youth and their Families

The mission of the Heart & Hand Center is to improve the lives of at-risk youth and their families. This Center serves as a safe haven that fosters educational and emotional development. We nurture possibilities, so that the heart of a child can become the hand of a community.

The Heart & Hand Center for Youth and Their Families promotes the belief that fostering creativity and providing a safe environment for youth to learn will build a foundation for individualism, creative thinking, and personal growth. The Heart & Hand Center has targeted low-income families, with children growing up in the Five Points area. This Center is a place where they can have access to vital resources that will broaden their futures. The Heart & Hand Center provides after school programming to children 6-16 in this low-income community, and currently serves about 60 youth daily.
