  • About Us

Audubon's mission is to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth's biological diversity. Audubon New York is the non-profit state office of the National Audubon Society. Our main office is in Albany, NY, however, our innovative school based program, For the Birds!, operates in several areas of the state. Through the study of birds, children experience hands-on activities based on science and within their local environment. This multi-week program includes classroom visits by trained staff and volunteers, field trips to local parks, and live birds of prey.
