Junior Achievement uses hands-on experiences to help young people understand the economics of life. In partnership with business and educators, JA brings the real world to students, opening their minds to their potential. Junior Achievement (JA) is the world’s largest and fastest-growing organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in the global economy. Volunteers, educators, and donors make this possible! Through a dedicated volunteer network, JA provides programs for students in grades K-12 educating them about: Entrepreneurship • Workforce Readiness • Financial Literacy JA programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. Students put these lessons into action, and learn the value of contributing to their communities. JA of North Central Ohio covers Ashland, Coshocton, Crawford, Holmes,Marion, Medina, Morrow, Portage, Richland, Summit, and Wayne counties in Ohio.
