  • Mission

Million Meal Movement has a two-fold mission: feeding the hungry and teaching the importance of volunteerism. We feed the hungry in our community by delivering meals to food banks and food pantries throughout Indiana. We unite our community by empowering volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to make a difference through hands-on, high-energy meal packing events. Million Meal Movement’s vision is an Indiana where its residents can hunger for something greater than their next meal.

    About Us

In 2007, Dan and Nancy Hintz founded Million Meal Movement with the mission of feeding the hungry in Indiana and teaching the importance of volunteerism through hands-on, high-energy meal packing events. Million Meal Movement’s vision is an Indiana where its residents can hunger for something greater than their next meal. Since our founding in 2007, volunteers have packed over 34 million meals to feed families throughout Indiana and the region.

The goal of our program is to reduce food insecurity in Indiana and promote volunteerism through the packaging and delivery of our shelf-stable meals to local food banks and pantries that serve the community. Our meals are packed by Hoosiers for Hoosiers.
