  • Mission

We are youth leaders and adult allies working together to build a movement for youth-led collective impact so that ALL of New York City's young people are equipped to thrive. Youth-led collective impact is both outcome and process. The outcome is every Black teenager is safe, every child has housing, every young person can shape the world. The process is young people and adults governing together, money flowing directly to young people, and young people setting the agenda at every level from nonprofit boards to city hall.

    About Us

We support youth-led collective impact efforts. Examples include our campaign to lower the voting age to 14 years old, hosting a youth mayoral forum, and hosting build youth power convenings where we brought youth-led organizations together to foster relationships and trust. Young people who are part of Youth Power Coalition learn leadership skills, find community, and transform their communities.
