  • About Us

Privilege Nonprofit serves as the bridge from homelessness to stability, helping shelters cope with the various needs of the unhoused during and after their short-term stay. We provide living essentials, recovery mechanisms and advocacy for the unhoused in support of local homeless shelters in Alameda, Contra Costa and San Mateo Counties of northern California. Privilege Nonprofit works with emergency housing facilities to provide residents – veterans, older adults, families and their children – with food, clothing and other basic needs. We also conduct life-skills classes and provide referrals to long-term and permanent housing, medical care, mental health counseling and other services that help rebuild lives and strengthen communities.
