SebastianStrong Foundation honors the life of Sebastian Ortiz by funding groundbreaking childhood cancer research and providing compassionate support to families navigating a diagnosis. Our mission is to increase survival rates and improve quality of life for kids with cancer by advancing less toxic, more targeted treatments and connecting families to the resources they need most.

SebastianStrong Foundation believes that hope thrives where science and compassion meet. We fund early-stage, innovative pediatric cancer research that might otherwise go unsupported, research with the potential to transform treatment outcomes for children everywhere.

Beyond research, we created My Childhood Cancer Navigator by SebastianStrong, a first-of-its-kind program offering personalized, non-medical support to families in Florida facing childhood cancer. Our team helps parents and caregivers navigate the emotional, practical, and logistical challenges of treatment, connecting them to trusted resources and community partners.

Since 2017, SebastianStrong has awarded millions in research grants to leading institutions across the country and provided direct support to hundreds of families. Guided by empathy, collaboration, and transparency, we’re building a future where every child with cancer has a real chance to thrive and no family has to walk this path alone.
