The Jaffa Institute

The Jaffa Institute's mission is to provide educational, recreational and social enrichment programs that endow underprivileged children in Israel with a sense of self-worth so they can break the cycle of bitter poverty they were born into, and grow to be healthy, educated and productive adults. At the base of this mission is the need to bridge educational gaps within Israeli society so that the children in our care can compete academically and socially with children privileged enough to attend wealthier school districts.

Our Mission:

• To provide educational and social enrichment to disadvantaged children and community members. ​

• To increase the nutritional security of impoverished individuals in our service area.

• To care for and strengthen the emotional and mental well-being of our program participants.
