  • About Us

Toxipedia is a free, interactive toxicology encyclopedia hosting over a thousand pages about chemicals and their health effects, ethical issues, toxicological history, teaching resources, and much more.

Our goal is to distribute scientific information about the health and environmental impacts of toxic chemicals, thereby encouraging the public and policy makers to make choices that create healthy communities and environments.

Toxipedia is a project of INND (the Institute of Neurotoxicology and Neurological Disorders), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1999 by toxicologist Steven G. Gilbert, PhD, DABT.
