  • About Us

The development of Bay Area Communities for Health Education (BACHE) grew out of the experiences of two East Bay parents who tenanciously saw to the removal of abstinence-only programs that had been implemented in their children's schools. Working with critical partners, such as the ACLU and Planned Parenthood, this parent initiated organization has secured numerous successes.

BACHE promots the teaching of comprehensive medically accurate, age-appropriate, bias-free sex education in our public schools.
