About Us

The Harvard Business School Healthcare Alumni Association (HBSHAA) is one of over a hundred Harvard Business School alumni clubs. Although overseen by the HBS Clubs Team, the HBSHAA is a relatively independent, self-run, non-profit, 501(c)6 organization.  HBSHAA consists of approximately 20-24 volunteer board members and 2-3 paid staff members. Board members are alumni of HBS; staff members historically have not been alumni.

The mission of the HBSHAA is to promote interaction and communication among HBS alumni involved in all sectors of the worldwide healthcare industry to aid in their professional development and continuing education through regional, in-person events, online webinars, and an annual conference. HBSHAA strives to play an active role in positioning HBS and its alumni to achieve a leadership position in the management of healthcare and life sciences organizations. HBSHAA has a mailing list of 6000+, which includes 3200 HBS alumni, 600 of whom are paid members representing 16 countries.
