    Our mission is to empower women with opportunity, skill development, and an inclusive community to strengthen our presence in the water. We envision a world where women and girls are uplifted, confident, and equal partners in surf culture.

    About Us

    We're Babes on Waves, an Oregon-based nonprofit helping to break barriers for women surfers in a male-dominated sport. We do this by creating community through events - open surfs, campouts, retreats, lessons, surf report and etiquette talks, happy hours and more. We're hoping to expand our programming in 2025 to include even more opportunities and scholarships to help women with financial barriers.
