MUHLENBERG COMMUNITY LIBRARY ASSN

  • Mission

The mission of the Muhlenberg Community Library is to promote lifelong learning opportunities by offering free library services to all who seek to change, improve, enrich, and enjoy their lives.

    About Us

We are a public library serving Muhlenberg Township, Laureldale Borough, and Alsace Township, but we are open to anyone who lives, works, or attends school in Berks County. We were founded in 1960 and are currently located on the Muhlenberg School District Campus. We are partially funded by state, county, and municipal funds but also rely on business sponsorships, individual donations, and fundraisers to meet our budget. We offer books, audio, and dvds, as well as educational and recreational programs for all ages. Print/ copy/ fax/ services are offered for a small fee. We also have scanning capabilities, free wifi, and patron computers available for use. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will do whatever we can to answer your questions, assist with computers, and recommend you next great read!
