Members include researchers and practitioners as well as parents, teachers, and others interested in using behavioral science to solve problems. Founded in 1981, the CCBS is a private, non-profit charitable organization. The mission of CCBS is to advance the scientific study of behavior and its humane application to the solution of practical problems, including the prevention and relief of human suffering. CCBS delivers trustworthy, verifiable information about effective ways to manage or change behavior in the home, school, and workplace. Our funding, enabling us to widely disseminate this information, relies on financial contributions and support.
