With students from more than 50 countries and English as instruction language, TU Berlin Campus El Gouna is unique in its internationality. Furthermore, El Gouna has become a research hub for TU Berlin's excellent researchers as well as other research institutions. Students benefit from being part of research projects as well as participating in the many scientific conferences and workshops taking place on campus.

TU Berlin Campus El Gouna was officially inaugurated in 2012, offering master’s degree in:

Water Engineering:

The program aims to provide students with broad, technical-orientated knowledge in water related engineering and natural sciences. It determines the complex challenges facing the water sector in dry climate regions. The students will develop appropriate academic and scientific problem-solving strategies. Just like all TU Berlin campus El Gouna master programs, water engineering teaches students how to work in international project teams on multidisciplinary topics in order to deal with water in a sustainable, integrated manner.

Energy Engineering:

The objective of the program is to provide students with shared theoretical and practice-oriented knowledge in the field of energy engineering. The program aims to teach students how to take an interdisciplinary approach in line with the principles of sustainability to deal with energy generation and efficient use.

Urban Development:

The central concern of the master’s degree program is to equip the participants with a critical understanding of the development of urban areas, unveiling the political, economic and social forces underlying the different types of urban conflict and exploring concrete approaches to address their causes.

IT for Energy:

The ITE Program covers the application of information technologies developed in the energy domain, where the main application areas are electricity generation, energy storage and consumption. Students will learn how to analyze, design, and implement information technologies to the needs of the energy sector.

Business Engineering Energy:

The Master program Business Engineering Energy (MBE) is adjusted to the strong demand for engineers with a convincing technical background but also managerial skills and knowledge of todays’ economy.
