About Us
The Concordia Community Solidarity Co-op Bookstore is an independent, not-for-profit bookstore located in downtown Montreal, on the Concordia University Campus.
Founded twelve (12) years ago, the Co-op Bookstore is a student initiative, serving the student community as well as the community at large.
We currently specialize in books and independent media on the following topics: Women's Studies, Trans/Gender and Sexuality, Sustainability, Ecology, Activism, Consumerism, and Progressive Politics.
We offer the following free services: Individual ordering; newsletter + community listings; consignment service for used books; consignment service for local artisan wares of all kinds.
We offer not-for-profit prices on all items, with added discounts for Members of the Co-op.
We are a Solidarity Co-operative, with three types of Membership: User Members; Worker Members; and Support Members.
