Norwalk Community College Foundation
Norwalk Community College Foundation was established to serve the needs of Norwalk Community College (NCC). It’s primary mission is fundraising in support of student and faculty needs, program development, and capital improvements. NCC was established in 1961 and annually educates over 12,000 Fairfield County students with programs ranging from nursing to culinary arts. The Foundation currently manages a $12M endowment and raises $2.5M annually with a vision for anticipated growth in the next 5 years. In 2006, the Foundation distributed over $450,000 in student scholarships and is currently conducting a $15M capital campaign for a new Center for Health and Science. The Foundation also holds two fundraising events, Access to Education – a corporate dinner, and Le Bal d’Ecole, a social dinner with auction, held on alternating years.
