The Community Hospice At Albany

  • Mission

The Community Hospice provides free bereavement services for anyone who has experienced the death of a family member or friend. These services are available to everyone, regardless of whether the person who died was a hospice patient. The Community Hospice serves seriously ill people and their families during the process of dying and grieving. We enhance quality of life with comprehensive, compassionate services that respect the dignity of those we serve.

    About Us

The Community Hospice is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program. We are part of St. Peter's Health Partners, and are privileged to work with every hospital in the region to provide hospice services. We serve more than 4,300 seriously ill patients and their families a year. Wherever you or your loved one may be--in your own home, in a local nursing home, or in the hospital, The Community Hospice can help. Our special kind of care focuses on allowing patients to live with dignity, where and how they want to live, with the best quality of life possible. We can provide support and guidance for months, not just a few days or weeks.
