To raise awareness of the substantial impact people's diets, especially meat consumption has on climate change.

    About Us

Climate Diet's goal is to raise awareness of the impact of what we eat on the climate. We do this through 3 areas: outreach, education and advocacy. This includes outreach via newsletters, Climate Wednesday data/infographic to media, consumers, plant-based festivals (partnering with other groups) to give people a taste of delicious, healthy plant-based foods, outreach to schools offering a science-based "Power of Food" tool kit that can be used in science classes, partnering with school green clubs, speaking to community groups of any kind. Our social media, website, outreach with Erin & Jane's Kitchen, weekly plant-based recipes is now reaching 60,000 people bi-monthly. Our newspaper opinions have been featured in the Washington Post, New York Daily News, Philadelphia Inquirer, Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Texas Observer Magazine, to name a few. We've been interviewed by CBS-TV News (Wash DC) and featured on radio shows, e.g. WHUR.
