OCQC’s mission is to cultivate community for LGBTQ+ residents of Orange County, NY and their allies through gatherings that prioritize collective visual, literary, and performance art. We unabashedly celebrate trans and queer joy, embrace our beautiful diversity, and provide a space for folks to experience solidarity and the freedom of authenticity.

Our Vision

OCQC envisions a world in which all humans, regardless of sexuality or gender expression, are able to be their authentic selves in every aspect of their lives – without fear and supported by a vibrant community of LGBTQ+ folks and allies. We long for a world free from the systemic normativities, phobias, and -isms that leave any group of people marginalized or oppressed.
