Rosshirt Water For Africa Foundation

Our mission is to save the lives of people in under-developed areas of Zimbabwe by providing access to clean and sanitary water through the drilling and routine maintenance of deep wells.

The Rosshirt Water for Africa Foundation, Inc. drills and maintains water wells (boreholes) that bring accessible, safe and clean drinking water to thousands of people EVERY DAY. To date, our wells serve 25,000 people living in undeveloped and remote areas of Zimbabwe, Africa.

To start to tackle the Zimbabwean water crisis, the Rosshirt Water for Africa Foundation makes certain that each well is dug deep enough (at least 40 meters) to ensure a steady flow of water and the prevention of contamination's found at more shallow levels. The majority of boreholes dug throughout Zimbabwe are not dug deep enough and are not properly maintained. RWFAF is committed to routine inspections of each of our existing wells to ensure we continue to deliver on our mission.
