Chico Velo

Our mission is to promote bicycling for transportation, recreation, and health through public education, advocacy, ​and community stewardship.

Since 1986, Chico Velo has been advocating for bicycling in Chico, CA and Butte County. We host the annual Chico Velo Wildflower Century & Festival which is the primary fundraiser for the organization. Through events, donations and partnerships, we provide year-round programs including Trailworks, Bike Valet & Adopt-A-Path. We work closely with local governments, businesses and other agencies to foster and promote bicycling as part of a vibrant and sustainable community.
